CLEVELAND — A 19-year-old man died after a truck and two off-road vehicles were involved in a wrong-way accident in Akron late Friday night, police said.
According to the Akron Police Department, officers responded to the area of Manchester Road and Nesmith Lake Boulevard just after 11:30 p.m. Friday. A caller told 911 operators that an ATV, a dirt bike and a Chevrolet truck were involved in the crash.
The 19-year-old driver of the dirt bike was found unresponsive and later died of his injuries, police said. A 21-year-old man, who was driving the ATV, was conscious and breathing and was taken to an Akron hospital for treatment.
