AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are investigating after a man was found dead in the Summit Lake neighborhood on Thursday night.
Police responded at around 8:35 p.m. to a home in the 200 block of West Long Street for a report of an unresponsive man on the property.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found a 55-year-old man bleeding on the front porch with what appeared to be a puncture wound to the upper body.
Investigators believe that the victim may have been staying at the residence temporarily. At this time, the victim's name has not yet been released.
