AKRON, Ohio — He's back!
Archie the talking snowman is making his return to Chapel Hill Mall in Akron this weekend. The legendary Akron snowman makes his 2019 debut on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 11 a.m.
Archie has been an Akron tradition for decades. After retiring from the mall several years ago, Archie resurfaced at Akron's Lock 3 Park in 2012 before officially returning to his original home at Chapel Hill a few holiday seasons later.
The massive snowman has been a childhood memory for many youngsters who talk with Archie about their Christmas desires -- and he actually answers back, his eyes lighting up with every response.
