AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Fire Department is on scene of a house fire at the corner of Crown Street and Cloverdale Avenue.
Fire officials say they encountered heavy smoke when they arrived on scene, but now have the fire under control.
Firefighters are asking that people to avoid the area.
No injuries are being reported.
