CANTON, Ohio — A 38-year-old Canton man has been arrested on charges of felonious assault and domestic violence after police say he shot his brother early Monday morning.
Canton police say it was around 2:40 a.m. when officers responded to the 1400 block of 14th Street NW.
The victim -- who police have identified as 36-year-old Travis T. Billheimer of Canton -- was found outside a residence "where he appeared to have sustained several gunshot wounds." Police say he was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Christopher Billheimer, who has been identified as the suspect, was arrested at the scene.
