CLEVELAND — Cleveland Division of Fire has several crews, including HazMat, at the scene of a truck crash and leak on I-71 North just past Denison.
According to fire officials, a semi truck lost its front axel while heading north on 71. While there were no injuries as a result of the crash, a small leak from the truck occurred.
HazMat determined that the leak was diesel exhaust fluid, not diesel fuel. The leak has since been contained.
Cleveland police officers are also at the scene.
At this point, 71 North is open, but limited to the right lane. Motorists are being asked to slow down and proceed with caution.
This is a developing story. Stay with 3News for more details as they become available.
