WESTLAKE, Ohio — The Westlake Dave & Busters location has announced the first annual edition of an upcoming classic car show and charity event benefitting local first responders.
The restaurant and arcade is partnering with local car show company Frank Lamanna Presents for the Pistons & Pints Classic Car show, which will take place on Friday, July 29 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Those who wish to display their own cars can enter the line starting at 3 p.m.
The event is open to the public and will feature a range of unique vehicles including some used by first responders, a beer garden, live music and other activities aimed at raising funds for local police, fire department and military personnel.
After the car show ends at 9 p.m., local band Madison Crawl will perform until the location closes at 12 a.m. The store will also be open for normal business hours during the fundraiser.
“Local first responders go above and beyond for our community and hosting this event is just a small token of our appreciation for all that they do to keep us safe," said Benjamin Ludwig, general manager of the Westlake Dave & Busters. "We invite everyone in the community to come out, have fun, and show their support.”
According to a news release, the event will also feature basket raffles, door prizes, and 50/50 raffles with all proceeds going towards the store’s donation to first responders. Guests will also be able to make a standard cash donation.
