WESTLAKE, Ohio — Three people were found dead inside home in Westlake on Monday.
According to Westlake Police Department Captain Gerald Vogel, officers received a call to respond to a residence in the 3600 block of Willow Run. The caller told police he had gone to the house to check on the welfare of a resident and found a person dead inside.
During its investigation, Westlake police officers ended up finding three deceased adults inside the home. All appeared to have gunshot wounds, according to Vogel.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office released two of their names Tuesday morning, which include:
- Nathan A. Demetra, 31
- Brent Shira, 45
The relationships between the three people is still being investigated.
An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Westlake Police Department, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
Detectives do not believe there are any outstanding persons of interest.
