AVON LAKE, Ohio — Avon Lake police are on the hunt for suspects who allegedly stole more than $271,000 worth of unused body spray last month.
According to a police report, a pallet full of body spray bottles were set to be destroyed at ReWorld Avon Lake, a specialized waste disposal and environmental company.
Avon Lake police say the supply of Rio body spray was stolen from the disposal company's storage yard on June 18.
Police say the total retail value of the stolen body spray is estimated at $271,440.
In its report, Avon Lake police add that "the manager suspects that several employees were involved in the theft."
At this time, police say there are no suspects and no arrests have been made concerning the reported thefts.
