ELYRIA, Ohio — A 40-year-old man has been arrested following a drug bust by the Elyria Police Department.
Police say that on Thursday, Feb. 22, the Elyria Police Department executed a search warrant at 111 Quincy Street with the assistance of the Lorain Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The search was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
While searching the home, detectives found and seized 154.2 grams of cocaine, 46.57 grams of fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.
Elyria police arrested Michael Blake at the residence, who is facing the following charges:
- Trafficking drugs (2 counts)
- Possession of a controlled substance (2 counts)
- Having weapons while under disability
- Endangering children (2 counts)
Blake is currently being held in Lorain County Jail pending his initial appearance in court.
