CLEVELAND — Editor's note: The video in the player above is from a previously published, related story.
As Northeast Ohio hunkers down for the impending winter storm, local trash and recycling servicers have announced cancelations, suspensions and delays for Thursday, Feb. 3.
Most notably, Republic Services, which handles Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Portage and Summit counties, has suspended all routes for Thursday, and says that they expect to resume Friday on a one-day delay.
Waste Management (WM) and Rumpke both say that services have not been suspended as of yet, but that delays are to be expected.
"WM is committed to the safety of our drivers, our community, and our customers. Our team will be attempting to safely service all customers. If your location is not serviced on Thursday an attempt will be made on Friday," WM said Wednesday.
Dumpster Bandit has yet to make any announcements on cancelations or delays as of 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday.
