CLEVELAND — WKYC's beloved colleague, Jimmy Donovan, is continuing his battle with leukemia and is currently on leave from the Browns Radio Network.
Jimmy has been the voice of the Browns since the team returned to Cleveland in 1999.
Sunday night, our 3News family honored him at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's annual event, Light the Night at Wade Oval. A number of WKYC employees gathered to participate in the walk, which thousands attended.
Light the Night brings friends, families, schools, corporate teams, and sponsors together with the goal of "bringing light to the darkness of cancer." Funds raised by the event go towards lifesaving research, advocacy and support for blood cancer patients and their families.
WKYC Studios served as a media partner for this year's Light The Night.

Jimmy, we continue to stand with you.
