STARK COUNTY, Ohio — The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating today after a 74-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Paris Township.
According to officials, the crash occurred around 1 a.m. after officers were called to the intersection of Robertsville Avenue SE and Lisbon Street for a crash.
Officers found the driver of a Chrysler PT cruiser inside of the crashed vehicle, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An initial investigation found that 74-year-old William Grimm, the driver of the PT Cruiser, was driving on SR 172 and attempted to take a turn, but failed, and struck a tree.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
