STARK COUNTY, Ohio — A man is in custody after an armed robbery took place at a Circle K Gas Station in Jackson Township.
According to the Jackson Police Department, the incident happened on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at around 4:45 a.m. in the 5100 block of Fulton Drive Northwest.
The victim told police that a male suspect had "entered the store, brandished a firearm and demanded money."
Police officials identified the suspect as 32-year-old Eric Campbell, who was found in the 4800 block of South Boulevard with a firearm that was believed to be used in the robbery.
Campbell was taken into custody and booked at the Stark County Jail on the following charges:
- Aggravated robbery
- Having weapons under disability
- Obstructing official business
The Jackson Township Police Department was assisted on the scene by the Jackson Township Detective Bureau, K-9 Ruger, K-9 Officer Rice and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
