GREEN, Ohio — A 55-year-old man is dead following a single car crash in Green on the morning of April 17, 2022.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., the Summit County Sheriff’s office responded to a crash near 2930 Massillon Road.
The driver of the 2000 Toyota drove off the right side of the roadway where he struck a tree, overturning the vehicle. Medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene. Speed appears to be a factor in the crash. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident. Massillon Road was closed for approximately four hours.
The crash remains under investigation by the Summit county Sheriff’s Office and Summit Metro Crash Response Team.
