Man dies in Euclid crash, vehicles damaged at Byrider lot

The owner of a Byrider location in Euclid tells 3News that four cars on his lot were totaled as a result of the crash.

EUCLID, Ohio — A 20-year-old man from Richmond Heights has died following a crash early Friday morning.

He has since been identified as Terron Everton Brown by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office. Euclid police reported the crash happened at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Chardon Road.

East Cleveland police have not released many details, only providing a brief statement to 3News: "We are investigating a fatal one-car accident involving a vehicle that was witnessed traveling at an extremely high rate of speed E/B on Euclid Avenue through East Cleveland and Cleveland."

The owner of a Byrider location in Euclid tells 3News that four cars on his lot were totaled as a result of the crash while eight were damaged. He's estimating the cost between $100,000 and $200,000. Byrider provided 3News with surveillance video from their location that captured the moment of the crash.
