AKRON, Ohio — Summit County Children Services is seeking the public's help locating a missing teen.
15-year-old LaPromise Athey was last seen March 13. According to reports, she may be a runaway. Officials suspect she may be in the Akron area.
She is described as a 5'2'' tall Black girl with black hair and brown eyes weighing approximately 118 pounds.
Anyone with any information is asked to call 1-800-THE-LOST, or the police at 216-621-1234 or the Summit County Children Services (SCCS) child abuse and neglect hotline at (330) 434-KIDS (5437).
