NORTHFIELD, Ohio — Two men are facing charges after Summit County Sheriff's deputies say they fired gunshots into a home while celebrating the July 4 holiday.
According to a release from the Summit County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a residence on Valley View Road in Northfield Center Township on Thursday amid a report that a home had been struck by gunfire.
"Upon arrival, deputies found three rounds had penetrated the exterior of the residence," officials stated.
Summit County Sheriff's deputies arrested two men, 22-year-old Brandon Drazil and 20-year-old Maxwell Tedor, after further investigation. Both men are residents of Northfield Center Township.
"It appeared both subjects fired approximately 30-50 rounds while celebrating the holiday," the release added.
Drazil and Tedor were each charged with a felony count of discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises. They were also charged with two misdemeanors, including criminal damaging. Both were taken to the Summit County Jail.
