CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — We have another big lottery winner in Northeast Ohio as a man from Cuyahoga Falls just hit a prize worth $1 million.
The Ohio Lottery says the lucky player won $50,000 a year for 20 years -- worth $1 million total -- on the Billion scratch-off game.
“He chose the cash option prize of $500,000 and after mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28 percent, he will receive $360,000,” according to the Ohio Lottery.
He purchased the winning lottery ticket at Acme Fresh Market at 2630 Bailey Road in Cuyahoga Falls.
The winner's name was not released.
Billion is a $50 scratch-off with a top prize of $1 million a year for 20 years. Here’s a list of all the remaining prizes left in the game as of March 5:
