CLEVELAND — Although nobody hit the $73 million jackpot in the latest Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, the Ohio Lottery says there were thousands of smaller prizes won throughout the state.
Those prizes are listed as follows:
- $1,500 prize: 5 winners
- $600 prize: 5 winners
- $500 prize: 7 winners
- $200 prize: 10 winners
- $30 prize: 335 winners
- $12 prize: 1,185 winners
- $10 prize: 773 winners
- $6 prize: 2,797 winners
- $4 prize: 2,421 winners
- $2 prize: 5,984 winners
However, an ongoing "cyber security issue" may prevent some of the big winners from claiming their prizes in the interim, as cashing of earnings of at least $600 has been suspended in most cases. Residents can still send claims to the Ohio Lottery Central Office, though.
The lucky Mega Millions numbers for the Friday night drawing are 8, 10, 22, 58, 64 and MegaBall 21. The Megaplier option is 3x.
The Mega Millions jackpot now climbs to $92 million, which features a cash option worth $45.9 million. The next drawing will take place on Friday, Dec. 29 at 11 p.m.
Lottery officials say the odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are one in 302,575,350.
