CLEVELAND — Whether you’re a player, a fan, or a business, everyone in Cleveland is preparing for the Guardians playoff series.
The series kicks off Friday against the Tampa Bay Rays. On Thursday, both teams were able to practice at Progressive Field.
Meanwhile, businesses in Cleveland prepare for thousands of fans to flock downtown throughout the weekend.
“When they win, we win,” said Jeff Hartzell, general manager of Thirsty Parrot.
The Cleveland Clothing Company is also stocking up. Owner Mike Kubinski told 3News that there will be new merchandise released Friday.
“We have some new designs coming out Friday and you know we’ll be ready for the weekend,” said Kubinski.
As new clothes are on the printers, beer and liquor are being stocked at Thirsty Parrot.
“The season has been great after COVID,” said Hartzell. “
Hartzell told 3News the Thirsty Parrot will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, giving fans a chance to get settled in two hours before first pitch.
