Watch: Nick Chubb's ankle-breaking 14-yard touchdown run vs. Ravens

Nick Chubb gave the Cleveland Browns a 17-10 lead over the Baltimore Ravens with a 14-yard third quarter touchdown run.

Last week, Freddie Kitchens admitted he made a mistake not giving Nick Chubb at least one carry when the Cleveland Browns were within striking distance against the Los Angeles Rams.

Facing the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, the Browns head coach appeared determined not to make the same mistake twice.

Following a 59-yard pass from Baker Mayfield to tight end Ricky Seals-Jones, the Browns found themselves set up at the Ravens' 14-yard line on their first drive of the third quarter. It didn't take long for Cleveland to make the most of its advantageous field position, as Chubb put his elusive skill set on display with a 14-yard touchdown run.

Chubb's touchdown run marked his second of the season and gave the Browns a 17-10 lead over their division rivals with 9:41 remaining in the third quarter. On the following drive, Cleveland regained the ball after safety Jermaine Whitehead forced a fumble out of the hands of running back Mark Ingram, which was ultimately recovered by defensive lineman Chad Thomas.

Entering Sunday, the Browns laid claim to a 1-2 record with the Ravens sitting atop the AFC North at 2-1. That means that Chubb's touchdown run could prove crucial in a contest between Cleveland and Baltimore in which first place in the AFC North is on the line.
