Pav’s releases new ice cream flavor inspired by 3News’ Betsy Kling and her ‘Dayum’ weather impact meter

The 'Dayum' flavor features vanilla ice cream that's blended with Hostess Snoballs.

GREEN, Ohio — A new ice cream flavor has been unleashed in honor of 3News’ Betsy Kling at all Pav’s locations just in time for the winter storm.

The limited-time treat is being called “Dayum,” which Pav’s said is inspired by Kling’s winter storm impact index.

“Dayum” features vanilla ice cream that’s blended with chopped Hostesses SnoBalls. Pav’s says “Dayum” will only be available from Tuesday until Saturday.

Kling first introduced her impact index on Sunday to showcase where Northeast Ohio stands as the strong winter storm approaches the region. We landed in the “Dayum” side of the meter.

"After a little ribbing on Twitter, I present the Betsy Impact Index," Betsy wrote on Twitter on Sunday. "Gonna be quite a doozy, many saying dayum! We go downhill Weds, Thursday will be BAD...impacts thru weekend for many. We have TWO DAYS to get ready. Not a matter of "IF" but "HOW MUCH & WHERE" based on track."

Pav's Creamery has multiple locations. You'll find them in Green, Portage Lakes, Cuyahoga Falls and North Canton.

The winter storm is expected to bring heavy snow to our northern-most counties with areas south experiencing some ice concerns. The system arrives on Wednesday starting as rain.
