CLEVELAND — A 101-year-old woman was taken to the hospital late Thursday night after she was shot in the arm around 10 p.m. in the 3600 block of East 151st Street.
The Cleveland Police Department said preliminary information “indicates that a discharge from the second floor apartment went through the floor and struck the victim.”
She was taken to University Hospitals in serious condition.
“Further investigation resulted in the arrest of one male and confiscation of a firearm,” Cleveland police said.
The situation remains under investigation.
