CLEVELAND — A 25-year-old man was fatally shot in Cleveland on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 1433 E. 81st St., where the victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim, later identified as Terry Chandler of Cleveland, was pronounced dead on the scene with the homicide division of the Cleveland Police Department responding to investigate.
According to Cleveland Police, a preliminary investigation indicates that a postal worker reported hearing gunfire and residents reported seeing an unknown color SUV fleeing the area. The postal worker located the victim down in the driveway of 1433 East 81st Street and proceeded to contact the police.
No arrests have been made at this time and an investigation remains ongoing. Anybody with information regarding this incident is asked to contact investigators at 216-623-5464.
