CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating after an EMS ambulance was hit by gunfire on Monday evening.
Police say the incident happened in the 3300 block of East 135th Street. The EMS Medic 11 ambulance was struck by gunfire while it was transporting a patient.
The EMS crew and the patient were not hit by any of the bullets from the gunfire. There is no word yet on any suspects from the incident, which is under investigation.
