AKRON, Ohio — Akron police were called to the 1100 block of Brown Street late Wednesday night to investigate an armed home invasion.

The victim told police that she was awakened to two masked men inside her home with guns. The victim said the suspects pointed guns at her and demanded money. The victim and her children were able to run to a neighbor's house and call police.
When police arrived, the suspects were gone.
The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money. Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
