COPLEY, Ohio — A fight at Urban Air over the weekend resulted in several arrests, according to a report from Copley police.
It was around 5:41 p.m. Sunday when an officer responded to the Urban Air at 160 Rothrock Loop “for a large fight inside of the building.”
Upon arrival at the scene, an officer said he met with an alleged victim who said he was assaulted by two people, which police later identified as a mother and her 17-year-old son. Both the mother and son were arrested, according to the police report.
While on scene, Copley police say they also received information that another involved juvenile may have been in possession of a gun. That teen -- also 17 years old -- was found in possession of a loaded handgun during a pat down, according to the police report. Police say the teen resisted arrest while his adult brother obstructed officers while taking him into custody. Both were also arrested and charged.
Despite posts on social media saying shots were fired during the incident, Copley police say that did not happen.
