CLEVELAND — On Friday's 3News Now with Stephanie Haney, the top headlines include something for everyone, including deals, dining and entertainment, along with sports and health issues.
Health officials say two women recently died from flu-related illness in Cuyahoga County.
Their deaths were confirmed Friday as the Cuyahoga County Board of Health released new flu data for the week of Feb. 16-22.
The deaths include a 33-year-old woman from East Cleveland and 79-year-old woman from Lakewood. This brings the total number of flu-related deaths this season to 16.
This comes after the death of longtime Cleveland Clinic cardiologist, Dr. David Taylor died February 5th from a complication of influenza.
As people the world over continue to mourn the loss of retired Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant, Nike has unveiled plans for a new shoe honoring the basketball great. 3News sports analyst Ben Axelrod joins the live stream to discuss the many tributes to the star, who died in a helicopter crash in January, along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others who were on their way to a youth basketball tournament.
