SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — A 44-year-old man was arrested Thursday on various drug charges after the Summit County Sheriff’s SWAT Team and Detective Bureau executed a search warrant in Springfield Township.
The search warrant was done amid an investigation of a deadly drug overdose that happened back on Jan. 16, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s office.
As a result, authorities say James Frymyer of Akron was arrested and charged with the following:
- Aggravated possession of drugs
- Possession of drugs
- Tampering with evidence
- Willful fleeing
He was taken to the Summit County Jail where authorities say additional charges are pending based on the outcome of the investigation.
