Euclid Police Department investigating Wednesday shooting of teenage boy

EUCLID, Ohio — EDITOR'S NOTE: The video above previously aired on Sunday, April 17, after a 10-year-old boy died after accidentally shooting himself in South Euclid.  

The Euclid Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that left a teenage boy injured. 

According to the Euclid Police Department, the shooting took place on Wednesday, April 20. 

The shooting occurred late Wednesday night at approximately 11 p.m. 

The Euclid Police Department is encouraging individuals with information on the shooting to call (216) 289-8505 and make reference to report #22-02291.

At this time, the Euclid Police Department will not release any other details or information as the investigation is ongoing.
