AMHERST, Ohio — Get ready, Northeast Ohio Caniacs. A new Raising Cane's location is coming to Amherst.
On Tuesday, the Louisiana-based chicken finger-centric fast food chain announced that it will be opening its 10th Northeast Ohio location this fall. The new restaurant will be located at 938 N Leavitt Road near the Cooper Foster Park Road intersection and include a two-lane drive-thru, "perfect for a convenient and delicious meal or late-night snack."
“We’ve loved being a part of the community ever since we opened the doors to our first Cleveland Restaurant,” Area Leader of Restaurants Taylor Zupancic said in a statement. “In fact, we don’t just serve up delicious chicken finger meals. This new Restaurant will directly serve the Amherst community with localized partnerships at Steele High School, Clearview High School and Lorain High School. We’re committed to being actively involved in cities we call home!”
Ahead of the restaurant's opening this fall, Raising Cane’s will be hiring 120 new crew members ranging from crew to management level. Glassdoor and Forbes have both named Raising Cane’s "One of the Best Places to Work," with wages starting at $15 per hour and Big Bold Crew Benefits, including flexible schedules for all crewmembers and weekly paychecks.
