MANSFIELD, Ohio — Mansfield police are investigating after two people were found dead Monday when officers responded to the scene in the 300 block of East Arch Street around 8:27 p.m.
“During the death investigation, it was found that both victims appeared to have sustained a single gunshot wound,” according to a press release from Mansfield police. “However, detectives do not believe there to be any additional persons involved in the shooting at this time. The Richland County Coroner's Office will be sending the victims for an autopsy as this is an ongoing investigation.”
No additional details were immediately available.
