BRUNSWICK, Ohio — Four people were taken to the hospital early Tuesday morning after an overnight fire at a home in the 2800 block of Nancy Circle in Brunswick.
Brunswick Assistant Fire Chief Russ Merhaut tells 3News they were dispatched to the scene at 3:01 a.m. where firefighters “made an aggressive interior attack” and knocked down the fire.
Those who were transported include a dad, mom and two children. Merhaut says the father was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but conditions of the others was not known.
Merhaut stressed the importance of smoke detectors, saying there were none found in the home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
