TALLMADGE, Ohio — Check your tickets!
Somebody in Northeast Ohio is walking away with a big Powerball prize worth $150,000 after the Ohio Lottery says the lucky ticket for Wednesday night's drawing was purchased at the Giant Eagle in Tallmadge.
The ticket, which was an auto-pick, hit the $150,000 prize after matching four white balls and the Powerball with the Power Play upgrade. That means the winner narrowly missed the monstrous $1.09 billion jackpot for failing to match just one of the five white balls.
There were also two winning tickets in Ohio worth $50,000 from the same drawing, according to the Ohio Lottery.
Since nobody hit the jackpot, it has now soared to $1.23 billion for the next Powerball drawing on Saturday, April 6, which features a cash option worth $595.1 million.
CHECKING THE WINNING NUMBERS
Even if you didn't win one of the big prizes, you still need to check your lottery tickets because there were thousands of other winners throughout the state.
Here are the winning Powerball numbers from the drawing on Wednesday, April 4:
11, 38, 41, 62, 65 and Powerball 15. The Power Play option was 3x.
