CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Cleveland Browns open the 2022 season on the road.
But it appears the team should have no shortage of support when it takes the field for its season opener vs. the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
As evidenced by the tailgate lots outside of Bank of America Stadium, plenty of Browns fans made the trip to Charlotte for Sunday's Week 1 matchup. While Cleveland season openers are always an event, this year's matchup has some added intrigue with former Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield starting at quarterback for Carolina on Sunday.
