Voting now open for Cleveland Browns' new dog logo contest

Voting is now open for the Cleveland Browns' contest to design a new dog logo.

CLEVELAND — On Monday, the Cleveland Browns announced the five finalists for its contest for fans to design a potential new dog logo for the team.

As of Wednesday, May 10, voting for the contest is now open with fans able to cast their votes here.

As a part of the voting, fans are able to select their two favorite logos and rank them in order. The Browns previously announced that voting for the contest would run through early June.

On Monday morning, the Browns took to Twitter to reveal the five finalists for the contest's final round, which were chosen from nearly 400 submissions. The finalists are as follows:

“We are fired up to see what ideas our fans come up with and the thought of their logo potentially being selected is a key element in our commitment to creating an amazing experience for our fanbase,” Browns Executive Vice President and Partner of Haslam Sports Group JW Johnson said in a statement announcing the contest last month. “We are always looking for feedback from our fans to improve their experience so allowing them to serve as a centerpiece of this contest offers an opportunity to engage with each other in real-time and showcase their love for the team and beyond.”

The Browns first introduced an alternate dog logo in 2003. As a part of the franchise's rebrand in 2015, the team adopted an updated dog logo, although it has seldom been used.
