PORTAGE COUNTY, Ohio — A crash involving an overturned semi truck closed a portion of I-76 East near Tallmadge Road in Portage County for most of Monday morning.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), the single-vehicle crash involved a semi truck on I-76 near milepost 31 in Brimfield Township at around 3:40 a.m. Troopers say the semi traveled off of the left side of the roadway and struck the median cable barrier before overturning.

The roadway finally reopened at around noon.
