CLEVELAND — The I-71 northbound and southbound ramps to I-90 west in downtown Cleveland have reopened following a crash Thursday.
In addition, the ramp from State Route 176 (Jennings Freeway) to I-90 west is also open again. The Ohio Department of Transportation announced the reopening of the freeway around 7:30 p.m., hours after the crash and long after the afternoon rush hour had ended.
According to the Cleveland Division of Police, the crash involved a semi truck that flipped onto its side. The truck driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
