CLEVELAND — Cleveland Police are investigating an apparent homicide that took place on E 104th St in the early hours of Friday morning.

Cleveland Police responded to a call at 2 a.m. on Friday regarding a shooting at 3460 E 104th St. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle that had crashed into a snowbank.
Inside the vehicle, officers discovered a 40-year-old man who had suffered gunshot wounds to the head and neck. EMS arrived and pronounced the man dead on the scene.
A preliminary investigation from the Homicide Unit found that the victim’s vehicle was near 3452 E 104th St at the time of the incident. The victim is believed to have been shot inside the vehicle, which rolled until coming to rest in the snowbank.
The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact investigators at 216-623-5464. Meanwhile, anonymous information can be provided by calling CrimeStoppers at 216-25-CRIME. A cash reward of $5,000 may be available.
