Ohio State Highway Patrol looking to identify white minivan involved in fatal crash in Ashtabula County

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is looking to identify a white minivan that was involved in a fatal crash in Ashtabula last month.

HARPERSFIELD, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is looking to identify a vehicle that was involved in a fatal crash in Ashtabula County last month.

The three-car crash occurred on State Route 534, South of Interstate 90 in Harpersfield Township, Ashtabula County at 10:56 p.m. on May 22.

Ryan Thomason, 40, of Geneva, was operating a 2005 Ford F-150 pick-up truck southbound on State Route 534 when an unidentified white minivan made a left turn from Old Harpersfield Road onto State Route 534 in front of him. Thomason proceeded to travel off the right side of the roadway before striking an unoccupied Ford E-350 Van. Thomason later died as a result of his injuries.
