CLEVELAND — Cleveland police and EMS officials report that a 10-year-old boy was shot on Monday afternoon in the city's Old Brooklyn neighborhood.
Police say the shooting happened at around 3 p.m. in the 5100 block of Gifford Avenue. The child was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center and is in serious condition, according to EMS.
The Cleveland Division of Police say the incident "is actively being investigated to determine the cause."
