After unveiling their new uniforms on Wednesday, the Cleveland Browns sent their new jerseys to a series of celebrities and social media influencers.
That group included celebrity chef (and Cleveland native) Michael Symon, who took to Twitter on Saturday to share a video of himself unboxing his new Baker Mayfield jersey.
"I got a Baker. Gotta love it!" Symon says while showing off the team's new brown home jersey. "I'm a chef, got a Baker—that's a good deal."
Symon went on to share that for an extended period of time, all proceeds from the sale of the Browns' new jerseys will go to their "Hats Off to Our Heroes Fund,” which aids "health care professionals, first responders, educational professionals and other groups who are pivotal in the community year-round and are valiantly serving as role models" amid the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Other celebrities to receive jerseys from the Browns include comedian and TV host Steve Harvey, country music star Brad Paisley and professional wrestlers Mike "The Miz" Mizanin and Johnny Gargano. Additionally, Browns players including Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr. and Nick Chubb have taken to social media to share their excitement over the new threads, which mark a return to the team's more traditional, classic style.
