Two suspects have been arrested following a fatal shooting that killed one person and injured three others.

MANSFIELD, Ohio — Two suspects have been arrested following a shooting in Mansfield that killed one person and injured three others in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Michael Lee Coffee Jr. and Avanta Shemar Dakota Payne Adams were each taken into custody on Monday, hours after they were each publicly identified as suspects following Sunday's shooting.

"These arrests are a direct result of excellent work by the entire Major Crimes Section of the Mansfield Police Department and members of the Community," the Mansfield Division of Police said in a statement. "It is the cooperation of the community and the diligence of the Major Crimes Bureau that both solved and apprehended the suspects in less than 48 hours."

The Mansfield Division of Police responded to the area of 151 Blymyer Ave following a ShotSpotter activation at 2:24 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds, including one who had died. The other three victims were transported to a local hospital.

Additionally, officers are looking for a potential getaway vehicle -- a 2012 Black Dodge Journey with a “ZACS” sticker on the rear door and possibly a “ZACS” license plate. The vehicle should now have significant rear-end damage consistent with that of backing into a utility pole and an Ohio Temporary plate Q864535.

A picture of the vehicle can be seen below. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Det. Ronee Swisher 419-755-9432.
