CANTON, Ohio — Canton Police are searching for a 45-year-old man wanted for an attempted murder that took place on Wednesday night.
According to Canton Police, officers were dispatched to 500 block of Webster Ave. N.E. at approximately 9:57 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a stabbing. Upon arriving, officers located a 46-year-old victim who had an apparent large stab wound to the rib area.
The victim, who was responsive, stated that he was involved in a confrontation with a known suspect who stabbed him. The victim was transported to Aultman Hospital by the Canton Fire Department with serious injuries.
Detectives identified 45-year-old Terry Leach as the suspect involved in the incident and filed arrest warrants for Attempt to Commit Murder (F1) and Felonious Assault (F2). Police are continuing to search for Leach, who remains at large.
